The Provence Salad. It contains meat, mushrooms bell pepper, cucumber, and tomato with a balsamic dressing. It’s also large enough to feed a big appetite. This is one of my local favorites.
What is the weirdest food you saw in Germany? Did you try it?
Honestly, I haven’t seen anything here that I would consider weird. I ate jellyfish, thousand year egg, fugu, and kangaroo meat in Hong Kong. Compared to the things that Asians consider as food, Germans are pretty normal.
Shish Kebab (lamb meat) over rice. This looks mildly off-putting, but it was delicious.
A somewhat regrettable chimichanga here in town. It’s hard to get good Mexican food in Germany.
Whimsy. Tacos. The DMV.
